Huaxia Jianlong Holds the 2023 Annual Science and Technology Work Conference
On March 1, 2024, Huaxia Jianlong held its annual science and technology work conference for 2013. The conference was attended by chairman Yuan Zhanyong, general manager Li Jinqian and other members of the leadership, leadership members of all subsidiaries, and related science and technology work managers.

Wang Xudong from Huaxia Jianlong’s Scientific Research Center delivered a report on science and technology work titled “Scientific Research Thinking Enables Innovation and Exploits Expertise to Create New Miracles”. The report was a systematic summary of the work done by Huaxia Jianlong in such aspects as research programs, research achievements, talent team construction, research ecosystem construction, elaborating the main objectives and orientations of scientific research for 2024 and introducing the research programs to be launched in such areas as surveying, mining, mineral processing, safety and environmental protection, comprehensive utilization, and intelligent construction.

Yuan Zhanlong, chairman of Huaxia Jianlong, delivered a speech titled “Research Innovation around Value Creation, Institutional Innovation around Research Innovation”, which put forward new requirements for scientific research in 2024 from different aspects, such as discovering value, exploring paths of innovation, creating a research atmosphere, introducing innovative tools and building research platforms. At the conference, Mr. Yuan quoted Pentland’s view and called on all researchers to improve their ability to integrate innovation resources, strengthen cooperation and exchanges with research institutions and enterprises, and promote the company to make new breakthroughs and achievements in scientific and technological innovation.

Li Jinqian, general manager of Huaxia Jianlong, delivered a speech titled “Innovation Makes the Richest”. Around Musk’s legendary life, he proposed four characteristics of the successful, including “persistence close to paranoid”, “love close to obsession”, “confidence close to blindness”, “fantasy close to craze”. Li said that innovation in science and technology will become the core power for our development in the future. Every employee must be a participant and contributor to science and technology innovation, which is not only anticipated by our management, but also a mission for the company’s development. Li encouraged research workers to promote the company to make new achievements and breakthroughs in innovation guided by the speeches delivered by President Zhang Zhixiang and Chairman Yuan Zhanyong, live up to the name of Huaxia, the entrustment from the mining industry and the aspiration in science and technology and forge ahead in the new journey to develop a global mining company.

Yang Xiyun, professor and doctoral supervisor of Central South University, delivered a wonderful lecture on “Hydrometallurgy Technology and Application”.

Huang Zhong, professor and senior engineer of Tinci Materials, delivered a report on the “Transformation and Upgrade of New Phosphorus Industry”.
In 2024, Huaxia Jianlong will continue to work earnestly from the height of development strategy in such aspects as reducing costs and increasing efficiency, comprehensive utilization of resources, adjusting the structure of varieties, digital and intelligent transformation, strengthen professional coordination, establish the mechanism, upgrade the R&D platform. We will develop the team of “compound talents”, constantly promote technological innovation in depth, establish three core technological capabilities, namely “advanced prospecting concept and technology, unique planning capability of mining and beneficiation system, leading technology for comprehensive utilization of resources”, striding towards the aim of becoming a top mining company.
