Chengde County Jianlong 100MW "Forest Light Energy Storage + Mine Ecological Restoration" Demonstration Project Successfully Connected to the Grid
At 16:53 on December 10, 2023, Chengde County Jianlong 100MW "Forest Light Energy Storage + Mine Ecological Restoration" Demonstration Project was successfully connected to the grid with the dispatching instructions and precise execution of the operators! This is the first centralized photovoltaic power generation project of Huaxia Jianlong, adding green energy to the Company's high-quality development.
The project was declared and implemented by Beijing Huaxia Jianlong Mining Technology Co., Ltd.'s wholly-owned subsidiary, Jianlong Chengde County New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. With the coordinates of the center point at 41.14°N and 118.22°E, the project is located in Chagou Township, Chengde County. The project has a planned installed capacity of 100 MW, supported by a 110kV booster station and a 15 MW/30 MWh energy storage system. The construction of the project also provides the function of mine ecological restoration, which can better restore mine ecology, improve the utilization rate of land resources, and offer high ecological benefits.
The project was declared at the beginning of 2021, completed on November 30, 2023, and successfully accepted on December 6. After more than 1,000 days and nights of hard work in a span of nearly three years, it was successfully connected to the grid at 16:53 on December 10, 2023. This project is the first centralized photovoltaic power generation project of Huaxia Jianlong, and another new breakthrough based on the experience of Hebei Hengchuan Building Materials Co., Ltd. and Inner Mongolia Jindi Mining Co., Ltd. in the distributed photovoltaic application, implementation and grid-connected photovoltaic power generation. As the first large-scale centralized photovoltaic power station project, it has developed a new path for the low-carbon green development of Huaxia Jianlong.
After completion, the project will have an average annual power generation capacity of about 143 million kWh, and realize an average annual operating income of RMB 47 million, an average annual profit and tax of RMB 8 million, and drive the employment of more than 50 people in the surrounding area. Solar power is a clean energy source, which is of great significance in alleviating the current energy crisis and environmental pressure. This project closely follows the national dual-carbon policy and conforms to the development trend of new energy, and saves 44,000 tons of standard coal and reduces carbon dioxide emissions by about 120,000 tons per year after grid connection and power generation.
A review of the project construction history reveals a practical work track of green photovoltaic power generation. Looked from the distance, the blue photovoltaic panels are as blue and magnificent as the ocean under the refraction of the sun, sending green energy continuously to numerous households. Jianlong members have gone through trials and hardships in the past, and are forging ahead bravely toward the future.
