In order to strengthen the communication and exchanges between national provincial mining associations (federations) and societies, and to promote the collaboration and development among associations, a joint meeting of national provincial mining associations (federations) and societies and a promotion meeting of mineral resources in Hetian was held in Hetian, Xinjiang, from August 8 to 11, 2023. Wu Guohua, Vice Chairman of China Mining Association, and Che Changbo, Secretary-general of China Mining Association, the relevant leaders in the region, the responsible comrades in provincial mining associations (federations) and societies, 25 domestic minerals enterprises, and the relevant departments and enterprises of the region took part in the promotion meeting. Mr. Yuan Zhanyong, Vice President of Jianlong Group and Chairman of Huaxia Jianlong, was invited to the meeting and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hetian District Administration.
Che Changbo, Secretary-general of China Mining Association, said that China Mining Association will focus on building platforms, policy consultation, special training, promotion and publicity, and expert guidance to support the development of Hetian's mining industry. He suggested that the Hetian region should establish a mineral resources database as soon as possible, prepare a plan for mineral resources exploration and development, set up a fund for mineral resources exploration and development, and realize high-quality, high-standard and high-efficiency development and utilization of Hetian's high-quality mineral resources.
Yuan Zhanyong, Chairman of Huaxia Jianlong, made an exchange speech around the proposal of Hetian mining development, Hetian high-quality mineral resources, and the investment in and operation of mineral enterprises. Mr. Yuan said that Hetian has huge resource potential and considerable reserves, with lead and zinc, lithium and beryllium and other mineral resources reserves occupying an important position in the country, presenting broad prospects for development. The company's development strategy and advantages are deeply compatible with Hetian. At present, the company has been engaged in mineral exploration and development in Hetian and Kashgar in Xinjiang for more than ten years, with a cumulative investment of RMB 350 million. In the future, the Company will continue to implement the development strategy, focus on exploration and development of resources in Hetian. Next, the Company will invest RMB 500 million in Hetian to build a new non-ferrous metal base, and strive to contribute to the socio-economic development of the Hetian area.
Mr. Yuan Zhanyong, Chairman of Huaxia Jianlong, signed the strategic cooperation agreement with Hetian Regional Administration on behalf of Huaxia Jianlong. Cong Gechen, Vice General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, attended the meeting.
