Huaxia Jianlong and Chengde College of Applied Technology Jointly Held the "Jianlong Cup" Table Tennis Competition

In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, further deepen the school-enterprise cooperation, enrich the life of employees, and enhance the cohesion of the enterprise, the "Jianlong Cup" Table Tennis Competition of the "July 1st Centennial Celebration of CPC Founding" series of Huaxia Jianlong was held in the stadium of Chengde College of Applied Technology (CCAT for short) on May 16 and 17. A total of 46 contestants from 11 representative teams from various subsidiaries and CCAT participated in the competition. Wang Xinghua, Dean of CCAT, and Jin Wei, Deputy General Manager of Huaxia Jiandong, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

Dean Wang Xinghua pointed out in his speech that Huaxia Jianlong is a well-known mining enterprise in China. Last year, it established a close school-enterprise cooperation relationship with the Intelligent Manufacturing Department of the college in the form of a title sponsorship class. Over the past year, through the joint efforts of both parties, the cooperation has been continuously deepened and improved, and the students has gained a deepened understanding on the enterprise. Today, we are jointly hosting the "Jianlong Cup" Table Tennis Competition, which will further improve the cooperation platform. We hope that everyone can demonstrate their style, friendship, and skills in the competition.

Ms. Jin pointed out in her speech that the "Jianlong Cup" Table Tennis Competition is a sports event jointly organized by Huaxia Jianlong and CCAT to compete on the same stage, communicate, and enhance friendship. In last September, both parties held a school-enterprise cooperation signing ceremony and a title sponsorship class opening ceremony. In December, the lecture opening ceremony for the title sponsorship class was held. Today, we jointly hold a Table Tennis Competition and further deepen and expand the platform for school-enterprise cooperation by recruiting students from the title sponsorship class as a member of our table tennis team. At the same time, we provide students with a window to understand the enterprise, enabling both parties to communicate with each other, enhance understanding and friendship. It's hoped that everyone will adhere to the principle of "health, positivity, hard work, and progress" in the competition, and develop friendship and demonstrate style.

According to the competition schedule, the competition is divided into three parts: men's singles, women's singles, and team competition. In the competition, each contestant quickly concentrated on the game, daring to fight with exquisite curves and powerful smash, providing a wonderful visual feast for the audiences. Especially in the men's group championship, it was so exciting that the audiences shouted and cheered one after another. "Good shots", constantly we heard them yelled in excitement.

After a day and a half of the competition, Chen Changpeng from Fanshan Phosphate Mine, Liao Yu from the Personnel Administration Department, and Wei Fuqiang from Fanshan Phosphate Mine won the men's singles championship, second place, and third place respectively; the women's singles champion and runner up were respectively won by Vice General Manager Jin Wei and Yang Wei from  Finance Department; the first, second, and third place teams in the group competition were the Fanshan Phosphate Mine team, the Fengning Xinyuan team, and the Beijing headquarters team.

At the closing ceremony, Hou Hongchang, Vice Dean of CCAT, Jin Wei, Deputy General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, and Mi Shubo, Deputy General Manager of Luanping Jianlong, presented awards to the award-winning contestants. Luanping Jianlong won the Best Organization Award in the "Jianlong Cup" Table Tennis Competition this time. Ms. Jin, on behalf of the company, also presented the "Jianlong Cup" commemorative card representing the friendship between the two sides to the college.

At last, Vice President Hou Hongchang delivered a closing speech and announced the successful conclusion of the "Jianlong Cup" Table Tennis Competition between Huaxia Jianlong and Chengde College of Applied Technology.
